Sports has always been of utmost importance on current athletic scenario, in view of these trends, a sports complex of International standards near Adgaon Naka is under construction.20 Acres of land have been allotted by government for the construction of this stadium. The proposal has been forwarded to State Govt. for financial sanction & certain technicalities are yet to be finalized.
Follow up action could be initiated through Hon’ble MP Devidasji Pingale & Guardian Minister Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal. Mr. Chhagan Bhujbal declared has that Modern Sports Complex is granted for Nashik on 16-1-06. This Sports Complex would include 10 Lanes synthetic track, Hockey Ground, Shooting Range and a hostel of 150 beds. Funds for a divisional sport complex had been sanctioned. Div. Commissioner Mr. Sanjay Chahande declared that Rs.14 Crores were sanctioned for Divisional Sports Complex. |
