Chief Minister Mr. Vilasrao Deshmukh has declared that EOU would be exempted from VAT, Sales tax, and stamp duty and registration charges. Total freedom has been given to the developer who is going to develop S.E.Z. for the creation of basic infrastructure facilities of the international standard.
These basic facilities would include electricity, water, gas- supply, hotels, Entertainment parks, communication, etc. Special Economic Zones will be exempted from the Labour laws.
In order to increase agricultural products have been declared under S.E.Z. The Minister of Agriculture was contacted for this purpose. Four agricultural products were:
Grapes
Kesar
Mangoes
Flowers
Pomegranate |
